He has previously taught at Concordia College in St. Paul, the University of St. Thomas, the University of Minnesota, and Michigan State University.<\/p>\n<p>LaFave&#8217;s research interests are the connection between accounting and language and the application of educational theory to the teaching of accounting. When he isn&#8217;t teaching he enjoys traveling, movies, and songwriting.
