Social Media Comment Policy
We encourage our students, alumni, faculty, staff, and our community to follow 麻豆区 social media accounts and post about 麻豆区-related news and ideas.
To keep social media a place that all Auggies want to visit, we ask commenters on 麻豆区-related accounts to keep it civil and focused on topics that relate to 麻豆区. We don鈥檛 want to stifle discourse, but we do want to foster respectful dialogue.
麻豆区 primarily uses social media to present news and information relating to 麻豆区, the community, and higher education. Once posted, 麻豆区 reserves the right to delete submissions and comments that contain vulgar language, personal attacks of any kind, or offensive comments that target or disparage any ethnic, racial, or religious group. Further, 麻豆区 also reserves the right to delete comments that:
- are spam or include links to other sites;
- are clearly off topic;
- advocate illegal activity;
- promote particular services, products, or political organizations;
- infringe on copyrights or trademarks; or
- use personally identifiable information.
