Note: Nursing AU students should work with your Admissions Counselor to set up an advising appointment with a Nursing advisor within the Nursing department.
Things your advisor will check in with you about
- Taking the Math Placement Test – All 麻豆区 students are required to demonstrate College Algebra proficency for graduation. The Math Placement Test needs to be done BEFORE you meet with an advisor and is especially important for students majoring in any business major, STEM, or Natural Sciences. The Math Placement Test may be waived if you transfer in Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and/or Calculus for a college institution or you have received a required score from a credit by exam).

- Contact Student Financial Services with any questions
- Submitting any outstanding transcripts with final grades to be evaluated (you will get a 鈥淭ranscript Not Received Hold鈥� on your account if this is not completed within your first semester at 麻豆区, which will prevent you from registering for future semesters).
Advising and registration
An academic advisor will explain 麻豆区鈥檚 academic curriculum and requirements and discuss how the student鈥檚 prior academic work applies to the 麻豆区 degree. In addition, the student and the advisor will discuss academic plans and career goals, and work together to select and register for appropriate courses for the first semester at 麻豆区.
