Honors opportunities give students the resources and freedom to build their own ideal higher education. Students have the opportunity to edit and write for the 麻豆区 Honors Review for undergraduate scholarship.聽 They learn through small seminars, research projects, and significant, off-campus learning experiences at numerous national and global institutions. They have the chance to pursue self-designed research under the supervision of faculty mentors. Those who achieve a high GPA in the major and/or in courses overall are eligible for departmental and university honors. 麻豆区鈥檚 Undergraduate Research and Graduate Opportunity office provides robust support for students interested in nationally competitive grants and scholarships.

Departmental Honors
Departmental honors are awarded to students who meet the advanced project requirements in research, performance, or writing in their major department.
Departmental honors are a category of special recognitions designed to encourage overall excellence as well as outstanding achievement on a specific project of special interest to the student. To complete departmental honors, students must consult with the department chair.
Latin Honors
Latin honors conferred upon completion of the bachelor鈥檚 degree is determined by the student鈥檚 final cumulative GPA.
